Movie descriptionThe Fallen Idol:
remake of Carol Reed's 1948 classic The Fallen Idol. The new version will move the story from London to present day India. The original film, based on a story by Graham Greene (who one year later again worked with Reed on The Third Man) takes place in a French embassy and deals with a young diplomat's son whose hero worship of the embassy's butler, Baines, leads to complications when Baines is suspected of murder.:
